SuonoSend

How to use SuonoSend

SuonoSend lets you transfer large files without creating an account or signing in. All you need is a web browser.

Three simple steps

Sending files takes just three steps.

  1. 1

    Choose your files

Drag files onto the drop area on the home page, or click it to open your file picker. You can select several files at once. Choose a retention period, then select “Upload and create share link.”

  2. 2

    Copy the share link

When the upload finishes, SuonoSend creates a dedicated link such as https://send.suono.audio/en/d/.... Anyone with that link can open the download page. You will also receive a private delete link that lets you revoke the transfer at any time. Save these links if you need them: they cannot be shown again, although this browser also keeps them on the Sent files page.

  3. 3

    Send the link

Share the download link by email or your preferred messaging app. The recipient only needs to open the link—no SuonoSend account is required.

Retention periods and file size

You choose how long files remain available when you upload them. The available periods are 1, 3, 5, 7, 14, 30, or 60 days. Files are deleted automatically after the selected period ends.

The maximum period becomes shorter for larger transfers. This limit helps SuonoSend manage storage responsibly and is applied automatically before upload.

Maximum retention by total size

Total sizeMaximum retention
Up to 2 GB60 days
Over 2 GB, up to 10 GB30 days
Over 10 GB, up to 50 GB14 days
Over 50 GB7 days

Download anything you want to keep before its expiration time. Deleted files cannot be restored.

Password protection

You can add an optional password when uploading. Until a recipient enters the correct password, SuonoSend hides the file list and prevents downloads. This is useful when the link should only work for a specific person or group.

Passwords are transformed with the scrypt password-hashing algorithm before storage; the original password is never stored. All network traffic is encrypted with HTTPS (SSL/TLS).

Delete a transfer whenever you need to

The private delete link shown after upload contains your delete key. Open it to display the deletion panel, then confirm to remove the files immediately.

Use it to correct an accidental upload or stop sharing before the normal expiration time. Delete links cannot be reissued, so save yours when the upload finishes. The Sent files page also keeps deletion access for transfers created in this browser.

Share with a QR code

SuonoSend generates a QR code for every completed upload. Scan it with a phone camera to open the download page—handy when sharing in person or moving the link to your own phone.

Uploading very large files

SuonoSend supports files several gigabytes in size. Large files are divided into smaller blocks and sent with multipart upload.

Sending separate parts is more resilient than one very large request and makes failed parts easier to retry. The progress bar shows how much data has been transferred. The process is automatic, so the steps are the same for files of every size.

Viewing and managing sent files

This browser saves a local record after each successful upload. On the Sent files page, you can review transfers made from this device, check expiration, copy links, and delete files.

This history is stored only in your browser’s local storage, not in a SuonoSend account. It is not available on other devices or browsers, and clearing site data removes it. Keep the delete link separately if you may need it later.
