株式会社Suono (the “Operator”) establishes this Privacy Policy for the handling of user information in the large file transfer service “SuonoSend” (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

  • Files uploaded by users and related information, including file names and sizes
  • Information sent automatically when the Service is accessed, including IP address, browser and device information, and access date and time
  • Information collected through cookies and similar technologies, primarily for advertising
  • Transfer information stored in the user’s browser local storage for sent-file management, including upload IDs and delete keys. This information remains on the user’s device and is not transmitted to the Operator’s server for history synchronization.

2. Purposes of use

  • Providing and operating the Service, including file storage, transfer, expiration management, and deletion
  • Preventing and responding to misuse and rights infringement, and complying with legal obligations
  • Maintaining and improving the Service
  • Delivering advertising and measuring its effectiveness

3. File storage and deletion

Uploaded files are deleted automatically when the retention period selected by the user ends. Users may also delete files with their delete key. Access logs and similar records may be retained for as long as necessary to respond to misuse and for related operational purposes.

4. Third-party services and service providers

The Service uses the providers listed below. Information may be stored or processed outside Japan by these providers.
  • Cloudflare R2 — file storage; Asia Pacific/Japan region
  • Upstash — transfer metadata; Tokyo region
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Google AdSense — advertising

5. External transmissions under Japan’s Telecommunications Business Act

The Service may transmit information from a user’s device to the following third party:

Google AdSense (Google LLC)

Information transmitted: cookie identifiers, IP address, pages viewed, and related information.
Purpose: ad delivery, optimization, and effectiveness measurement.

6. Cookies

The Service may use cookies for advertising and related purposes. You can disable cookies in your browser, but doing so may prevent some Service features from working. Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent-management message.

7. Disclosure to third parties

The Operator does not disclose collected information to third parties except where required by law or where necessary to respond to rights infringement, misuse, or similar matters.

8. Security measures

The Operator takes necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of collected information and to manage it securely.
