Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the large file transfer service “SuonoSend” (the “Service”) provided by 株式会社Suono (the “Operator”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service

The Service temporarily stores files uploaded by users and makes them available for third parties to download through an issued URL. Uploaded files are deleted automatically after the retention period selected by the user. The Operator may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service without prior notice.

2. Prohibited conduct

You must not use the Service to engage in any of the following:
  • Conduct that violates applicable law or public order and morals
  • Infringement of copyrights, trademarks, other intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, or other rights of a third party
  • Uploading or sharing child sexual abuse material or other illegal content
  • Uploading or distributing files containing computer viruses or other harmful programs
  • Uploading another person’s personal or confidential information without authorization
  • Interfering with operation of the Service, imposing an excessive load, or gaining unauthorized access
  • Any other conduct the Operator considers inappropriate

3. Reports of infringement and removal

If the Operator determines that a file on the Service infringes a third party’s rights or is illegal or otherwise inappropriate, the Operator may remove it and suspend the user’s access without prior notice. Reports of infringement and removal requests should be sent to the contact address below. The Operator will respond appropriately under Japan’s Act on the Limitation of Liability of Specified Telecommunications Service Providers and the Right to Demand Disclosure of Identification Information of the Senders.

4. Disclaimer

  • The Service is provided “as is.” The Operator does not warrant its completeness, accuracy, usefulness, availability, or fitness for any purpose.
  • Uploaded files may be deleted when their retention period ends or for other reasons. The Operator is not responsible for lost or damaged files. Keep your own backup of important data.
  • The Operator is not liable for losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service.
  • The Operator is not liable for disputes between users or between a user and any third party.

5. User responsibility

You use the Service at your own responsibility and are solely responsible for uploaded files and their contents, as well as for controlling share URLs. If your breach of these Terms causes damage to the Operator or a third party, you are responsible for compensating that damage.

6. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and use of the Service are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Operator’s location as the court of first instance.

7. Changes to these Terms

The Operator may revise these Terms when necessary. Revised Terms take effect when they are posted on this page.
